"Guy was super cool and helped a ton by making everyone feel at home."

Another Tucson chef is scheduled to show off their skills on the Food Network.

You can catch chef Michael Elefante from Mama Louisa’s Italian Restaurant competing on “Guy’s Grocery Games” on Wednesday, September 23.

Following in the footsteps of the other local chefs that have competed on the show, much like Travis Peters of The Parish and Mo Madril of Geronimo’s Revenge, Elefante will be firing up the set’s kitchen at 9 p.m. (Tucson time, that is).

“It was a blast,” said Elefante. “From the trip out there to the shoot itself. It was an absolutely amazing experience. I can’t wait to watch it with my kids.”

The upcoming episode is called “Nothin’ but Noodles” — fitting for someone who’s used to creating and rollin’ his own noodles.

Mama Louisa’s Italian Restaurant is located at 2041 S. Craycroft Rd. For more information about the episode, visit foodnetwork.com.
