It’s the final countdown for one of Tucson’s popular food trucks. However, don’t get too upset because they’re still going to be serving up its food that’s been “breaking diets since 2014” at its new brick-and-mortar location.
Back in November 2020, The Blacktop Grill opened its first stationary restaurant on the northwest side of town at 8300 N. Thornydale Rd., Suite 120.
“Thank you, Tucson for allowing us the privilege and opportunity to grow with you,” The Blacktop Grill shared on Facebook. “We are excited to announce we will keep serving our delicious eats from our new home on Thornydale.”
Therefore, they’ll be taking out the mobile version of their restaurant for one last tour. From now until March, The Blacktop Grill will be parked outside of Tucson Hop Shop for their “last dance.”

If you miss out on their final days as a food truck, the same great cuisine can be found at their northwest side location. The new spot is open seven days a week.
