Each week, we want to highlight one of our favorite restaurants in Tucson!

Pizza comes in all shapes and sizes — round, rectangular, thin, baked in a pan, and tossed high up in the air before it’s crisped up in the oven.

Whether it’s a crispy thin crust or a towering deep dish, Anthony “Rocco” DiGrazia of Rocco’s Little Chicago is a master of his craft.

In the late ’90s, a restaurant space at 2707 E. Broadway Blvd. was on the market and Rocco’s officially opened for business. More than 25 years later, Rocco’s is ready to expand. The restaurant is planning to relocate just a few steps away on Broadway Boulevard at the Sol Block — a historic building on The Sunshine Mile.

They’ll be neighbors with The Broadway (the sister concept to Caps & Corks), Decibel Coffee, and more.

The new location is expected to have a bigger bar, more tables, a wider patio area, and a more spacious kitchen to allow DiGrazia to keep making his iconic pizzas.

Tasty Specials

Like many folks, we’re always looking out for deals in Tucson and the lunch specials at Rocco’s are available daily until 4 p.m.

Lunch Specials (til 4 p.m.)

• Slice of Deep Dish Pizza ($9.49) – Up to two toppings ($0.25 for each additional topping)
• Slice & Soup or Salad ($14.49) – Choice of vinaigrette, bleu cheese, or ranch dressing
• Grand Illusion ($14.49) – Three hot sticks or breadsticks and a house salad
• Souper Trooper ($14.49) – Bowl of soup and house salad
• Bob & Pat Special ($14.49) – half sandwich and a soup or salad
• Hale & Grady Special ($15.49) – Six wings and a soup or salad
• Frank & Jack Special ($16.99) – Six wings and a slice of deep-dish pizza
