Nothing like watching a game at the bar.
While the World Cup would have TV priority at most establishments, this year’s Russia location makes most of the games inconveniently early for Americans — like 3 a.m. and 8 a.m. early.
While it’s a no-go to drink at 3 a.m., some local joints are opening as early as 4:30 a.m. to accommodate the need for watching the World Cup in a social setting with booze. Here’s the list.
Casino Del Sol
5655 W. Valencia Rd.
At 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 17, Casino Del Sol will start with the pre-game show for Mexico vs. Germany with the following specials until the end of the game:
- $3 Breakfast Burrito
- $3 Bud Light & Michelob Ultra 16-ounce drafts
- $3 Bud, Bud Light, & Michelob Ultra 16-ounce aluminums
- $3 Estrella Jalisco 12-ounce bottles
- $3 Shots of 3 Amigos Tequila & Margaritas

Ghini’s French Caffe
1803 E. Prince Rd.

Playground Bar & Lounge
