After almost two years open selling sweets, Monsoon Chocolate Cafe + Market recently launched a breakfast and lunch menu with savory items. They hosted us to try it out and take some photos:

This spring salad features a combination of kale, shaved asparagus, fennel, grapefruit supremes, fresh herbs, and a bright sunrise citronette.

Their take on avocado toast also includes pickled shallot, vibrant watermelon radish, fresh jalapeño, cilantro, and sprouts. Add a jammy egg for $3.

The silky gravlax has a bright citrus cure. Enjoy it on the everything bagel with an herb schmear, pickled shallot, capers, and cucumber.

Pistachio pesto and mortadella mingle with burrata and arugula on focaccia.

Yogurt serves as the blank canvas for spiced agave, toasted nuts, fresh berries, and Rosebud Bakery granola, and Monsoon Chocolate cocoa nibs.
An Earth Day Event
From 3-6 p.m. on Earth Day, April 22, Monsoon Chocolate Cafe + Market will host a Chiltepín Chocolate Launch Party in support of the Northern Jaguar Project. Swing by for samples.
