The Hills will soon open at the corner of Sunrise and Kolb, introducing a new neighborhood café to the Catalina Foothills.
According to a press release sent by Flores Concepts, the team behind restaurants such as El Charro Café and the Monica, the café will serve brunch, lunch and dinner in a warm, welcoming setting. The concept aims to give foothills residents a reliable, community-driven gathering place.
A Neighborhood Café in the Foothills
The Hills, inspired by the Monica, will occupy the former Commoner & Co. space at 6960 E. Sunrise Dr. The team will reimagine the restaurant to reflect an approachable style and seasonal flavors.
Additionally, the ownership team plans to focus on neighborhood hospitality. The café will welcome guests for morning coffee, midday meals and evening dinners.
“Our goal is to create a place that feels like an extension of the neighborhood — comfortable, consistent, and genuinely hospitable,” the ownership team said in a press release. “We’re excited to bring a new energy to this iconic foothills location.”
Flores Concepts did not return a phone call requesting details in time for publication of this article.
