This year, St. Patrick’s Day is on a Thursday and is rearing up to be a Thirsty Thursday, but there’s more happening the weekend before and on the big holiday.
This means you’ll need to iron out the wrinkles on your green shirt and start looking for that pot of gold/fun event happening right here in Tucson. So, whether you’re looking for a bite of corned beef or simply a place you can spend time with those wearing — or not wearing — green, take a gander at some of what the city has to offer.
Pay close attention to the dates because some are happening sooner than others. Also, don’t forget that the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival is happening on Saturday, March 12.
The crawl is taking place downtown at The Funky Monk, Cobra Arcade Bar, HiFi Kitchen and Cocktails, John Henry’s, Mr. Head’s, and O’Malleys on Saturday, March 19. Each of the spots will be having drinks specials and check-in time is between 4 – 6 p.m.

1912 Brewing Company is hosting a party on Thursday, March 17 from 1 – 9 p.m. They’re releasing three new brews as well as some green beer. Oh, and what’s a celebration without Corned Beef and Cabbage and Green Churros. Daniela’s Cooking will be around from 2 – 8 p.m.
