September 11, 2023
By Matt Sterner

From quesabirria to rigatoni and meatballs, Sonoran Restaurant Week 2023 is here and there’s a variety of prix fixe menus available now until Sunday, September 17. Many of these meals are unique in their own way. If you’re just for a burger throughout the 10-day event — a masterpiece between two buns — you’ve come to the right place.

Also, here’s a full list of every participating business this Sonoran Restaurant Week.

2522 E. Fort Lowell Rd.

Over at the bodega on Fort Lowell Road, you can snag a City of Gastronomy Veggie Burger made with a housemade veggie burger that consists of native tepary beans and Father Kino’s heritage chickpeas. This handheld is then topped with aioli, poblanos, seared onion, sunflower sprouts, and fresh goat cheese.

The deal is $25 and includes rosemary sweet potato wedges, your choice of freshly brewed teas, and then delicious citrus olive oil cake for dessert.

Gourmet Girls Gluten Free Bakery/Bistro

5845 N. Oracle Rd.

For $25, the gluten-free restaurant is serving a Greek Burger with your choice of a side, a non-alcoholic beverage, and a gourmet cupcake. It’s a well-crafted meal for those avoiding gluten or just plain hungry.

If you’re hungry earlier in the day, they have a Breakfast Pizza for two that comes with two non-alcoholic drinks for $25.

Lindy’s on 4th

500 N. Fourth Ave.

Lindy’s is offering the perfect date night for hamburger lovers.

For $25, you can get two OG Burgers (cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and Lindy’s Sauce) and a basket of French fries or tater tots. Or, the same combination of food with two draft beers for $35.

The vegan restaurant is slingin’ a $25 deal that comes with your choice of either cauliflower wings or fried mushrooms as an appetizer, a Wildcat Burger, and a housemade cookie. It’s good enough to hang with the meat patties.

The downtown location is offering a $25 deal throughout the 10-day celebration. For that price, they’re serving garlic parmesan fries, a La Sonorense Burger, and a skillet brownie sundae. Party on!

Zinburger

6390 E. Grant Rd.

We’ve got another date night deal on our hands here.

For $35, choose a side to share (onion rings, French fries, or sweet potato fries), one of the three burgers on the Sonoran Restaurant Week menu, and a slice of pie to share (banana cream or chocolate).

Pick Your Burger:

  • Zinbuger – manchego cheese, zinfandel braised onion, lettuce, and mayo
  • Samburger – applewood smoked bacon, American cheese, lettuce, and 1,000 Island dressing
  • California Burger Bowl – avocado, griddled sweet potato, roasted mushroom, caramelized onion, Brussels sprouts, brown rice, and quinoa

This is just a quick list of some of the best deals happening during Sonoran Restaurant Week. But remember — ALL of the menus offered for Sonoran Restaurant Week are a deal. It was a requirement to participate! So — take advantage! Use this week to explore all that Tucson’s incredible restaurant scene has to offer without breaking the bank.
